Clinical Education Program Coordinator (Medical Education): Coordinating undergraduate and postgraduate medical education placements, rotations, electives, assessments, schedules, and clinical teaching payments across Interior British Columbia with an accent on learner administration, faculty coordination, and program operations. Focus on managing distributed clinical placements, maintaining education systems and confidential records, solving scheduling and access issues, and supporting accreditation-aligned assessment processes.

Location: Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Hybrid work requires in-office days at Kelowna General Hospital, including Wednesdays. Some travel to hirify.global Okanagan and other hospital or clinic sites may be required.

Salary: CAD 4,836.00–5,547.00 per month.

hirify.global's Southern Medical Program supports undergraduate and postgraduate medical education across the Interior of British Columbia.

What you will do

  • Coordinate Year 3 and 4 medical student rotations, electives, rural family practice placements, and integrated community clerkship programs across Interior sites.
  • Manage student schedules, placements, access, privileges, confidential records, and online learning platforms including MedNET, Entrada, and One45.
  • Coordinate communication among students, residents, faculty, preceptors, hospital administrators, medical office assistants, and healthcare professionals.
  • Support assessment and evaluation processes in accordance with LCME accreditation standards and hirify.global policies.
  • Track clinical teaching activity and ensure accurate and timely payments to Faculty of Medicine preceptors.
  • Support postgraduate medical education scheduling, faculty recruitment, onboarding, academic sessions, and related program planning.

Requirements

  • High school graduation, two years of post-secondary education with relevant administrative training, and at least three years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint Online.
  • Strong organization, project planning, prioritization, communication, interpersonal, diplomacy, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage confidential information, exercise discretion, and operate effectively in a changing environment.
  • Knowledge of Zoom, audiovisual, web conferencing, and video conferencing technologies.
  • Previous undergraduate medical education experience, familiarity with Interior and British Columbia healthcare communities, and collaborative tools are assets.
