Remote Cardiac Rehabilitation Nutrition Group Educator

Location: United States — Remote. Fully remote schedule, generally Monday–Friday from 2pm–8pm ET; weekend or three-day weekday availability is also considered.

Compensation: $30 per completed 60-minute group education session.

What you will do

• Facilitate virtual cardiac rehabilitation nutrition education classes for enrolled patients.
• Teach macronutrients, heart-healthy diets, nutrition in cardiac recovery, and related lifestyle changes.
• Lead weekly live cooking demonstrations for intensive cardiac rehabilitation patients.
• Encourage patient participation through interactive discussions and adapt teaching to different learning styles.
• Guide light stretches or simple exercises when appropriate and monitor engagement.
• Communicate patient concerns or questions to the care team and follow virtual facilitation guidelines.

Requirements

• Experience teaching, facilitating, or presenting nutrition education to groups.
• Strong communication, public speaking, presentation, and virtual engagement skills.
• Ability to explain health concepts in clear, patient-friendly language.
• Comfort leading light stretches or basic exercises safely during sessions.
• Ability to engage patients with different learning styles and create a supportive learning environment.
• Availability for the stated remote schedule and United States-based role.

Nice to have

• Background in nutrition or dietetics, exercise physiology, cardiac rehabilitation, nursing, health coaching, or health education.
• Experience with cardiac patients or chronic disease populations.
• Familiarity with cardiac rehabilitation or preventive health programs.
• Experience teaching virtual or online classes.
