What you will do

• Drive embedded computing hardware products from concept through production.
• Participate in system design and create hardware specifications and test plans.
• Capture schematics using OrCAD and provide PCB layout guidance.
• Collaborate with layout, mechanical, signal integrity, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Bring up systems and perform engineering validation in the laboratory.
• Drive hardware builds, procurement, technical discussions, and resolution of challenging issues.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hardware engineering experience; 7 or more years is desirable.
• Hands-on board design, schematic capture, PCB layout instruction, and signal integrity experience.
• Familiarity with Cadence OrCAD and Allegro design tools.
• Knowledge of I2C, SMBUS, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe, DDR4/DDR5, display, and network interfaces.
• Experience with DC-DC step-down converter design, x86/Arm servers, laboratory equipment, system bring-up, and product validation.
• Strong debugging, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with firmware, Linux, and scripting languages.
