Manager of Power Distribution Programs (Electrical Equipment Manufacturing)

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year plus bonus; restricted stock units included.

What you will do

• Own the consolidated delivery portfolio for LV switchboards, MV switchgear, MV PDC, and skid integration programs.
• Lead and develop project managers while setting standards for schedules, submittals, change capture, cost accuracy, and customer communication.
• Act as the senior escalation point for customers and stakeholders, managing schedule impacts, change negotiations, and recovery plans.
• Partner with plant leadership on capacity planning, line loading, throughput constraints, and production management.
• Own program margin, cost targets, forecasts, executive dashboards, and monthly economics reviews.
• Govern submittal performance, schedule quality, process standardization, PMO stage gates, and post-mortem reviews.

Requirements

• Deep technical knowledge of low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution equipment and applicable listing and testing standards.
• At least 8 years of project management experience in electrical equipment, construction, engineering, or manufacturing, including 3 or more years leading project managers or technical professionals.
• Bachelor of Science degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a closely related field.
• Experience owning a multi-program manufacturing portfolio with accountability for on-time delivery and margin.
• Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, schematics, and equipment layouts, with strong manufacturing capacity planning and ERP-based production management skills.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet, MS Project, Monday.com, or Primavera P6, plus Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or Visual is useful for the role.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling electrical equipment manufacturing through significant volume growth.
• Experience with UL 891, UL 1558, and ANSI C37.20 series equipment.
• Experience introducing medium-voltage manufacturing capability into an existing facility.
• Data center construction experience.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
