Manager, Site Reliability Engineering (SaaS)

Location: Canada

Salary: $150,000–$185,000 CAD per year for work performed in Ontario; compensation may be updated to BC for a Vancouver posting.

What you will do

• Lead two teams of 4–6 platform engineers across site reliability and developer experience.
• Coach, mentor, and manage a senior cross-functional team, including performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans.
• Define and execute the SRE strategy, team vision, project priorities, and long-term roadmap.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud infrastructure for a global POS SaaS platform.
• Drive automation across deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Coordinate cross-organization projects and collaborate with engineering, product, and SRE stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience delivering projects autonomously across multiple workstreams through high-performing teams.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code, infrastructure management, and operational automation.
• Experience across engineering and leadership roles, including leading medium- to large-sized platform engineering teams.
• Ability to set strategic direction, define long-term objectives, and guide complex platform engineering initiatives.
• Availability to participate in an on-call rotation when required.
