Manager, Engineering (.NET/C#)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States. Travel required less than 10%.

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year plus an 8% annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and develop six engineers directly while coordinating delivery across offshore and nearshore pods totaling 13 people.
• Own delivery outcomes and partner with Product and Engineering leadership on roadmaps, priorities, and execution.
• Guide architecture, design reviews, high-stakes code reviews, and incremental modernization of an established platform.
• Improve reliability, data integrity, observability, testing discipline, CI/CD, incident response, and engineering metrics.
• Lead hiring, interview calibration, talent development, performance management, and team structure changes.
• Enable responsible adoption of AI-assisted coding tools and promote clear written communication.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams and shipping production software.
• Experience managing blended full-time and contractor teams.
• Strong technical background in .NET, C#, modern ASP.NET services, and legacy VB modernization.
• Working familiarity with Angular and full-stack design tradeoffs.
• Production experience with AWS, ECS/EKS, serverless services, managed databases, observability, and infrastructure modernization.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools; fluency in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

• Experience in K-12 EdTech, SaaS, or other mission-driven software environments.
• Background with high-reliability, high-transaction-volume systems.
• Experience scaling onshore/offshore or full-time/contractor engineering teams.
• Contributions to engineering excellence or leadership development programs.
