Onsite Release of Information Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: Onsite at a hirify.global client site in Providence, RI, USA

Salary: $15.25–$20 per hour

hirify.global provides software and operational support for medical record release and information management processes.

What you will do

• Process medical release-of-information requests accurately and efficiently.
• Enter and manage request data using hirify.global software applications.
• Organize medical records, forms, and authorizations to complete the release process.
• Support the resolution of HIPAA-related release issues and maintain confidentiality.
• Provide professional customer service in person, by phone, and via email.
• Attend required training and perform related operational duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college is preferred.
• At least 2 years of medical record experience.
• At least 2 years of clerical or office work experience.
• Experience using desktop computers, scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work onsite at the Providence, RI client location.

Nice to have

• Experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations governing the release of protected health information.
