Senior Strategic Program Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote, but candidates must live within approximately 70 miles of offices in Allen, Texas; Lenexa, Kansas; Springfield, Missouri; or Monett, Missouri. Occasional onsite interviews or in-person onboarding may be required.

What you will do

• Lead strategic software engineering programs composed of multiple interrelated projects supporting card processing products, payment solutions, and business initiatives.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and executive leadership to align roadmaps and deliver business outcomes.
• Manage end-to-end program planning, governance, budgets, stakeholder engagement, risks, issues, dependencies, and executive communications.
• Ensure delivery follows CPMO standards, SDLC processes, governance practices, and audit-ready documentation requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of modern delivery practices, including automation and AI-enabled capabilities.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of program and/or project management experience.
• Experience managing large, complex programs involving multiple teams, third-party partners, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Experience managing governance, scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Must live within approximately 70 miles of an office in Allen, Texas; Lenexa, Kansas; Springfield, Missouri; or Monett, Missouri.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, EFT, banking, credit unions, or card processing.
• Experience with platform modernization, cloud migration, digital transformation, or large-scale integration initiatives.
• Experience using AI tools, Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, Power BI, or related delivery management tools.
• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, ACP, or similar certification.
