Senior Project & Program Manager (AI)

Location: Remote, Massachusetts, United States; travel to client sites or company locations may be required for 10–25% of the time.

Salary: $132,240–$208,800 USD gross annually, base pay only.

What you will do

• Plan and initiate complex projects by developing charters, scopes, resource plans, schedules, budgets, and feasibility assessments.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and track milestones, tasks, deliverables, risks, and decisions using project management tools.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, vendor contracts, and capacity planning.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders through status meetings, presentations, executive briefings, and change management.
• Resolve escalations and conflicts, apply quantitative and qualitative analysis, and improve project outcomes.
• Conduct post-project reviews, share best practices, and mentor junior project managers.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira.
• Hands-on experience with LLM platforms, agentic AI tools, and next-generation AI agent frameworks for workflow automation and systems integration.
• 5–8 years of progressive project management experience, including enterprise-level projects with multiple stakeholders and budgets of $1M or more.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills; flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when required.

Nice to have

• Experience in IT, construction, healthcare, finance, or manufacturing.
• Master’s degree in business administration or a similar discipline.
• PMP, Certified Scrum Master, or another relevant certification.
• Familiarity with applicable regulatory and compliance standards.
