What you will do

• Coordinate customer-site waste management, logistics, pickups, transporters, treatment facilities, and subcontractors.
• Classify, sample, package, prepare, load, and arrange transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, waste profiles, inventories, inspection records, and audit materials.
• Track treatment, storage, and disposal facility profiles, resolve profile issues, and coordinate expired-profile processes.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments, forklifts, respiratory protection equipment, and other site equipment.
• Maintain safe operations, comply with customer-site rules, and maintain a good driving record.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on knowledge of RCRA, EPA, and DOT hazardous-waste regulations.
• General college-level background in chemistry, biology, environmental science, or comparable work experience.
• Current 40-hour HAZWOPER training and required customer-site and function-specific training.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, UVX, AS400, Access, and intermediate Excel.
• Ability to operate a forklift, use respiratory protection equipment, and obtain a CDL license if required.

Nice to have

• CDL endorsements or certifications such as CHMM, RCRA, or DOT.
• Basic Plus Houston Safety Rating Course completion, where applicable.
