HazMat Field Driver/Technician - CDL (A) (Hazardous Waste)

Location: St. Gabriel, Louisiana, USA; field-based role with Monday–Friday scheduling and variable routes that may include 3–4 overnight shifts per week.

What you will do

• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to designated generator sites using Class A tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles.
• Operate roll-offs, tankers, gravel trains, box trucks, van trailers, and straight trucks for bulk and containerized waste pickups.
• Perform LTL pickups and maintain logbooks, permit books, trip reports, waste manifests, and other driver documentation.
• Apply DOT requirements for hazardous waste packaging, placarding, labeling, load segregation, securement, and state weight limits.
• Complete DOT/MOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections, use company mobile applications, and maintain safe vehicle and facility conditions.
• Interact with customers and support lab pack, field service, site safety, and required training activities.

Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license with hazardous material and tanker endorsements, or the ability to obtain the endorsements within 90 days of hire.
• Motor vehicle record must meet company policy standards.
• Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER training upon hire.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical loading and unloading tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, prioritize work, and manage multiple responsibilities.
