Logistics Professional II (Property Management)

Location: Springfield, VA, United States; onsite role

Salary: $64,000–$128,000 per year

What you will do

• Receive, verify, inspect, record, and store incoming company and government material and equipment.
• Package and ship material and equipment while tracking shipments.
• Maintain inventory records and conduct annual physical inventories.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, report metrics, and support internal and external audits.
• Assist with resolving nonconformances and completing project or program property closeout and final disposition.
• Coordinate with customer and company property representatives, freight carriers, and government personnel.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of inventory management or warehouse management system transactions.
• Bachelor’s degree; additional work experience may substitute for the degree.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to operate powered equipment, with forklift certification, and willingness to obtain DOT Hazmat or IATA Dangerous Goods training.
• Ability to lift up to 94 lbs., travel minimally as needed, and comply with hirify.global non-commercial and DOT driving programs.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Practical understanding of government or customer property management under the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
• NPMA or equivalent certification.
• Four years of related experience.
