Lab Pack Manager (Environmental Waste)

What you will do

• Lead and train the Lab Pack department in daily operations and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee segregation, compatibility recognition, packaging, labeling, documentation, and transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Manage projects from quotation and scheduling through labor and equipment coordination, invoicing, and completion.
• Analyze budgets, sales, activity reports, productivity, and performance data to identify cost reductions and program improvements.
• Represent the department with internal and external customers and coordinate with sales, Field Services, Transportation, and facility teams.
• Maintain strong safety performance and promote department-wide safe work practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including lab pack, waste, or environmental solutions experience.
• Working knowledge of RCRA, DOT, OSHA, and USEPA requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in the Portage, Indiana, United States role and perform operational responsibilities involving materials handling and transportation.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, business administration, or a related field.
