Logistics Analyst

Salary: $42,300–$58,200 per year, depending on locality.

What you will do

• Coordinate drivers, trucks, containers, and daily service capacity.
• Analyze route data and update route plans to improve efficiency, accuracy, sequencing, and capacity.
• Monitor routes in progress, resolve operational issues, and respond to same-day and next-day changes.
• Track missed pickups, service commitments, customer communications, and route-related delays.
• Support driver safety, security, performance management, disposal planning, and compliance with hours-of-service and weight requirements.
• Work with the Operations Manager on disposal plans, swing routes, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and time-sensitive tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Two years of experience in dispatching or a similar leadership role preferred.
