Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Onsite at the NYC office; applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Salary: $277,000–$346,000 annual salary plus target equity and benefits.

Suno is a consumer entertainment company building an AI-powered music platform for creating and sharing music.

What you will do

• Lead and grow a cross-platform team of backend, web, iOS, and Android engineers.
• Own the revenue product roadmap with product, data science, engineering, and commerce platform partners.
• Drive pricing and packaging, paywalls, offers, subscriber retention, and revenue-focused user experience improvements.
• Plan hiring, execution milestones, and the operating cadence for the next phase of the team.
• Improve experimentation infrastructure and instrumentation to support confident, data-driven decisions.
• Provide architectural guidance and evaluate AI-enabled engineering workflows.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience managing engineers, following substantial full-stack engineering experience.
• Strong product and commercial judgment, with the ability to shape ambiguous roadmaps and connect user behavior to business outcomes.
• Experience designing data-driven experiments, including forming hypotheses, selecting metrics, and evaluating data limitations.
• Ability to hire, assess, develop, and retain engineering talent.
• Strong cross-functional communication, collaboration, and trust-building skills.
• US work authorization and onsite work at the NYC office are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer subscriptions, growth, fintech, payments, or pricing and packaging.
• Billing infrastructure experience with Stripe or RevenueCat.
