BIM Modeler 3 (Revit)

Location: Portland, Oregon, United States; on-site

Salary: $70,000–$91,000 annually, plus a discretionary year-end bonus.

hirify.global's Virtual Construction department delivers project modeling, detailed drawings, coordination, and layout documentation.

What you will do

• Model marked-up drawings in Revit according to EC standards and prepare detailed project drawings.
• Set up Revit views, work sets, sheets, schedules, filters, browser structures, and electronic document filing.
• Prepare, transmit, archive, and manage project documents through websites, SharePoint, FTP, and hard-copy systems.
• Coordinate 3D models with other trades and work with field supervision on dimensioned layout and prefabrication drawings.
• Lead or support laser scanning of existing structures and coordinate 3D object models created from scan data.
• Participate in model-driven job layout and verify elevations and dimensions using Total Station and other computer-driven survey equipment.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and eVolve.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and estimating software; Accubid knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read, understand, and write contracts.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills.
• Prior design/build experience is preferred.
