Senior Project Manager (Electrical Construction)

Location: Sparks, Nevada, United States; on-site

Salary: $135,000–$200,000 annually, plus a discretionary year-end bonus

What you will do

• Lead project teams and supervise Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers across approximately 10 active projects.
• Manage up to $30 million in electrical construction work, including project planning, execution, cost tracking, reporting, and closure.
• Control project cost, schedule, performance, quality assurance, and safety through on-site foremen and project teams.
• Maintain relationships with owners, contractors, vendors, and internal operations.
• Resolve emerging project issues and support customer service, business development, and cross-selling of integrated solutions.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience selling, estimating, and managing multimillion-dollar industrial construction or advanced technology projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering plus 10 years of construction project experience, or the stated equivalent combination of foreman and project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, construction methods, QA/QC procedures, system turnover, labor, materials, and contracts.
• Experience managing projects with 100,000 or more labor hours and completing detailed electrical takeoffs and estimates.
• Proven experience with heavy power distribution, instrumentation installation, process control, and system integration.
• Relevant electrical subcontracting experience is required.
