Project Engineer I - Project Manager (Electrical Engineering)

Location: Onsite in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania; Lewis Center, Ohio; Nashua, New Hampshire; or Charlotte, North Carolina. Regional travel of up to 25% is required.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 annually when filled at the Project Engineer III level. The range may differ based on level, location, experience, training, knowledge, and skills.

What you will do

• Manage the full life cycle of multiple large, multi-discipline projects from proposal conception through commissioning and close-out.
• Track and stabilize projects, resolve obstacles, and anticipate customer needs related to SEL products.
• Train and assist customers with the creation, design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation and protection systems.
• Assign, complete, and implement work within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
• Lead the creation and finalization of customer-approved functional design specifications.
• Support proposals and marketing, sales, application engineering, and development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Project management experience or training related to engineering construction and electrical systems, or PMP certification.
• Relevant application experience with electric power systems, power system protection and control, integration, automation, and/or communications applications.
• Experience in an electrical utility, industrial plant, consulting engineering, or system integrator environment.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 25% and work from one of the listed US locations.
