What you will do
- Lead HR business partners supporting designated functions, locations, or plants.
- Advise business leaders on organizational effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Develop leadership teams and lead talent reviews, compensation cycles, and succession planning.
- Manage labor relations at union sites, including contract administration, grievances, and union partnerships.
- Support mergers and acquisitions through onboarding, culture integration, and organizational alignment.
- Lead, coach, develop, and manage the performance of the HR team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, talent processes, HRIS systems, compliance, employment law, and policy interpretation.
- Experience with employee relations investigations, conflict resolution, mediation, workforce analytics, process management, and HR program execution.
- Strong consultation, communication, facilitation, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Work onsite in Belvidere, Illinois, United States.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, an MBA, or a related discipline.
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations and working in union environments.
- Mergers and acquisitions experience, especially integration support.
- Experience with AI-enabled HR tools, talent analytics, automation platforms, and project management.
