QA/QC Specialist - Procurement (Federal Construction)

What you will do

• Lead procurement strategy, execution, and material quality control across federal construction projects.
• Review vendor qualifications, bills of material, procurement submittals, purchase orders, change orders, pricing, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.
• Inspect and document received materials, manage testing programs, and maintain material and procurement records.
• Coordinate quality control meetings, RFIs, non-conformance reports, corrective actions, project closeout, and government inspections.
• Support claims, REAs, audits, and client communications related to procurement and material quality.
• Promote safety and enforce quality requirements with subcontractors, suppliers, project teams, inspectors, and government representatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with a procurement or contract management focus.
• Experience with procurement and supply chain management in construction or engineering projects.
• Proficiency in quality assurance and quality control processes, material inspections, NCR handling, corrective actions, and document control.
• Experience with federal contracting and compliance, including FAR, DFARS, Buy American requirements, and CUI.
• Understanding of purchase orders, change orders, BOM management, vendor qualification, and government-project documentation.
• Experience with ERP and document control tools such as SAP, Oracle, Procore, or SharePoint, plus Microsoft Office and Windows.
