Procurement Specialist (SaaS)

Location: Remote within the United States

What you will do

• Locate, audit, upload, and maintain executed vendor contracts, W-9s, compliance records, and related metadata in Zip.
• Configure Zip's renewal module and proactively coordinate upcoming contract renewals with business units.
• Support procurement end to end, including purchase requests, approvals, purchase orders, vendor onboarding, and vendor negotiations.
• Maintain procurement data flow between Zip and NetSuite, including vendor records, licensing, and spend information.
• Train employees and approvers on procurement policies and Zip while driving policy adherence.
• Optimize Zip workflows to make procurement requests faster and clearer for end users.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in corporate indirect procurement operations, purchasing, or finance operations.
• Hands-on experience with Zip or a similar procurement or spend management platform such as Coupa, Airbase, or Procurify; Zip experience is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite and its connection with procurement and accounts payable.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, or spend tracking.
• Comfort working with messy, unstructured data, including contract cleanup and record audits.
• Ability to train and communicate policies clearly to non-procurement stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage details, and build strong relationships across the company.

Nice to have

• Experience at a growing SaaS or technology company.
• Experience implementing or improving a procurement system or ERP integration.
• Finance or Accounting background, including accounts payable and expense classification.
• Familiarity with SaaS procurement, software licensing, and vendor compliance.
