Procurement Specialist

Location: Birmingham, Alabama, USA; travel up to 25% to hirify.global facilities throughout the South Region is required based on business needs.

Salary: $71,400–$95,000 USD per annum

What you will do

• Manage local and regional procurement processes for facility operations in accordance with company procedures and policies.
• Qualify suppliers, manage supplier relationships, coordinate onboarding, and monitor supplier performance.
• Lead RFPs, bid evaluations, market comparisons, negotiations, contract awards, dispute resolution, and purchase-order expediting.
• Oversee contract compliance, amendments, extensions, risk, warranty, and liability matters while advising Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
• Lead total-cost-reduction initiatives, support supplier quality programs, and prepare cost data for annual budgeting and KPI reporting.
• Coordinate maintenance spare-parts sourcing between hirify.global facilities and train internal users on procurement systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant procurement and supply management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain, Finance, or a technical discipline.
• Knowledge of procurement contracts, legal aspects, risk management, warranties, liabilities, TCO modeling, and change management.
• Demonstrated negotiation, data-driven decision-making, KPI reporting, and stakeholder and supplier relationship skills.
• Ability to work between an office and highly industrial environments, with a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% to facilities throughout the South Region.
