Process Control Manager (Refining)

What you will do

• Lead engineers and technicians responsible for regulatory process control, advanced control optimization, PLC automation, equipment protection, and emergency shutdown systems.
• Provide technical direction during normal, upset, emergency, startup, shutdown, and turnaround operations.
• Oversee controller design and installation, troubleshooting, loop checking, network and control-system upgrades, PLC testing, and automation projects.
• Coordinate with OT, Operations, Process Engineering, Commercial, vendors, licensors, and contractors to maintain safe and reliable refinery operations.
• Manage control-system obsolescence replacements, parts inventory, testing facilities, budgets, staffing, and investment recommendations.
• Prepare progress reports and decision-support presentations while communicating priorities, resource needs, and operational risks to leadership.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least five years of relevant experience.
• Experience in refining or the petrochemical industry is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required upon hire.
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC Card.
