Maintenance Technician III - 1st Shift, 6 AM - 2:30 PM (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: 902 Feehanville Dr, Mt Prospect, Illinois, United States; onsite, 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

What you will do

• Diagnose failures and repair industrial machinery, including 3-phase electrical controls, PLC systems, DC drives, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyors.
• Perform planned, predictive, and preventive maintenance, including equipment calibration and circuit and wiring inspections.
• Partner with engineering and production teams to improve machinery, reduce downtime, and eliminate safety risks.
• Order replacement parts and maintain accurate repair and maintenance documentation.
• Follow OSHA standards and maintain a clean, safe maintenance environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience, or a trade school certificate or associate degree in industrial maintenance.
• Hands-on knowledge of 3-phase power, PLC systems, relay logic, motor controls, electrical conduit installation, and testing equipment such as ammeters and meggers.
• Mechanical and facility maintenance skills, including tool repair, pneumatics, basic plumbing, HVAC, masonry, and plant utility systems.
• Ability to read schematics, prints, and technical drawings; diagnose equipment issues; use computers; communicate effectively; and cross-train.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and work short-notice overtime when production requires.
• Successful completion of a post-offer background check and drug screening is required.
