TL;DR
Senior Product Manager (Oncology) (Diagnostics/Laboratory Services): Leading product development and commercial scale for Signatera, a tumor-informed minimal residual disease assay, with an accent on laboratory throughput, turnaround time, process stability, and change control. Focus on building data-backed business cases, defining product requirements, analyzing operational data with SQL and SPC, and driving cross-functional launches through hypercare.

Location: Remote within the Bay Area, California, or Austin, Texas, with the ability to commute onsite to a hirify.global laboratory a few times per month.

Salary: $154,600–$190,300 USD annually, plus additional compensation and benefits.

What you will do

  • Own the product roadmap for future Sighirify.global features and laboratory service components.
  • Lead end-to-end change control, from root-cause investigation and requirements authorship through board review, launch hypercare, and close-out.
  • Improve laboratory turnaround time, throughput, capacity, and process stability across core laboratory sites.
  • Build data-backed business cases and financial models for equipment, automation, and operational improvements.
  • Define product performance indicators, launch criteria, and hypercare metrics using operational and sequencing data.
  • Partner with software engineering, digital product management, product marketing, and other stakeholders on instrument integration, LIMS requirements, positioning, pricing, and technical launch materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, physical sciences, statistics, or engineering; a Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, including 2–3 years in product management, commercialization, or strategic consulting within diagnostics, medical devices, or oncology.
  • Experience using operational data and voice-of-customer research to drive process improvements and eliminate failure modes across the sample lifecycle.
  • Experience with laboratory services and quality systems such as CAPA, nonconformance, and change control in a CLIA/CAP laboratory environment is preferred.
  • Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Statistical Process Control, Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks is preferred.
  • Must be located near a hirify.global laboratory in the Bay Area or Austin and able to commute onsite a few times per month.
