Contract Negotiator III (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within Texas; occasional local travel may be required

Salary: $70,100–$126,200 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate and negotiate hospital, physician, and ancillary service agreements.
• Negotiate single-case agreement rates within approved parameters and escalate issues when needed.
• Create agreements using approved language and rates, route them through SharePoint, and track processing through execution.
• Support provider selection and redirect requests to cost-effective alternative providers when participating providers are unavailable.
• Identify providers who may address network gaps or access-to-care concerns.
• Prioritize urgent requests, imminent discharges and transfers, and complaints.

Requirements

• Must be located in Texas and authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of contracting or provider relations experience in healthcare, managed care, or insurance.
• Working knowledge of state or federal healthcare programs such as Medicaid and Medicare is preferred.
• Occasional local travel may be required.
