Senior Director, Technical Program Management (AI)

Location: Onsite at the Main Home Office Building in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $160,000–$320,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-wide platform integration, architecture consolidation, platform standardization, and modernization initiatives.
• Coordinate technology strategy, cross-functional dependencies, roadmap execution, escalation management, and external integration partnerships.
• Own platform analytics, organizational metrics, executive operating mechanisms, WBRs, MBRs, QBRs, KPI governance, and OKR tracking.
• Lead organizational change management and communications, including executive updates, All Hands, newsletters, pulse surveys, and adoption initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement through engineering friction reduction, Kaizens, Gemba walks, Kaikaku initiatives, and foundation-improvement programs.
• Lead portfolio governance, AI-native SDLC transformation, prioritization, tradeoff management, Jira hygiene, vendor rationalization, and AI-enabled engineering adoption.

Requirements

• Onsite role based in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related area and 8 years of relevant experience; or 10 years of relevant experience without the degree requirement.
• Relevant experience may include engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or a related area.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional, multi-year technology initiatives and influencing executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Project management certification.
• Master’s degree in business administration with a relevant specialization.
• Experience in product design or supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
