Supervisor I (Retail)

Location: Deer Park, New York, USA, at Tanger Outlets Deer Park - Kate Spade

Salary: $17.00–$27.75 per hour

What you will do

• Lead the sales floor and support store leadership in achieving sales and KPI targets.
• Build client relationships through proactive outreach, service standards, and VIP retention activities.
• Coach associates, support recruitment and onboarding, and provide feedback on performance and development.
• Supervise opening and closing procedures, cash handling, deposits, registers, and facility security.
• Maintain accurate POS and inventory operations, including receiving, transfers, shipments, repairs, and replenishment.
• Drive omnichannel and virtual selling, live-stream shopping, social media engagement, and customer data capture.

Requirements

• Strong English proficiency and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role; luxury or premium retail experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Social media literacy and familiarity with platform trends, omnichannel selling tools, and clienteling systems.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, public holidays, peak seasons, and other high-traffic retail days.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and move around the sales floor and stockroom.
