Outside Sales Account Manager (MRO/Industrial Supplies)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; outside sales responsibilities within an assigned territory.

What you will do

• Manage existing B2B accounts to support retention and customer satisfaction.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to expand account value and category penetration.
• Develop new contacts and sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Prospect within the assigned territory using networking, industry events, and referrals.
• Plan territory coverage and qualify leads to optimize sales opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors, and product innovations, providing market feedback to management.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in MRO or industrial supplies.
• Experience with B2B sales and a customer-focused approach.
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations products and manufacturing or facility-management needs.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, time-management, and territory-planning skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of material handling and industrial maintenance.
• Experience with tools, safety equipment, fasteners, or related MRO product lines.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
