Electronics Assembler II (Aerospace)

Location: West Caldwell, New Jersey, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $22.00–$27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform component preparation, assembly, equipment operation, inspection, and engineering-related builds.
• Repair and rework defective or returned assemblies using current solder rework standards.
• Read drawings, wiring diagrams, assembly aids, and work instructions to determine assembly sequences and installation requirements.
• Create production documentation, including IT tickets, work orders, NCRs, FAIs, and work-order closeouts.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and leadership to resolve quality issues.
• Train new employees and support continuous improvement using 5S, KPIs, Standard Work, and problem-solving tools.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of related experience or equivalent training.
• High school diploma or equivalent and a fine soldering certificate or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and manufacturing practices.
• Ability to interpret production and engineering prints, illustrations, and wiring diagrams; strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and visual acuity are required.
• Proficiency with Oracle, Teamcenter, QMS, Excel, and other software tools.
• Only US Persons may be considered where access to controlled data or information is required under ITAR.

Nice to have

• IPC soldering or rework/repair certification.
• Ability to coach and mentor employees.
• Experience maintaining equipment on a stringent calibration schedule.
