Electronics Assembler II

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY / Elma, New York; second shift

Salary: $25.00–$32.00 per hour, plus a 10% second-shift differential

What you will do

• Assemble high-reliability chassis, circuit-card assemblies, wire harnesses, and final electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Perform complex soldering, crimping, circuit-board repair, and jumper-wire and connector assembly.
• Interpret assembly drawings, bills of material, and electronic work instructions.
• Complete inspections, FOD checks, cleaning, potting, painting, and equipment maintenance.
• Use hand tools, torque equipment, crimpers, calipers, soldering equipment, microscopes, and other precision instruments.
• Follow ESD procedures, high-reliability soldering specifications, and applicable government and customer requirements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of related electrical assembly and soldering experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, or demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based instructions.
• Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must work onsite in Buffalo, NY / Elma, New York on the second shift.
• Participation in the company FAA Drug & Alcohol Program is required for this safety-sensitive position.
• Ability to meet applicable high-reliability soldering certification requirements.
