What you will do

• Build scalable backend Java REST APIs and services in Linux/Unix environments.
• Design and develop backend architectures and distributed systems.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment through code reviews, debugging, problem solving, and technical discussions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and test-driven development.
• Support complex, fast-paced client solutions using cloud and DevOps technologies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend Java development and 14+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• Strong Java/JVM, REST APIs, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, relational database, Git, and Linux/Unix skills.
• Experience with backend architecture, distributed systems, API design, CI/CD, automated testing, TDD, NoSQL, or frontend development.
• DevOps experience with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, or scripting.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
