MEP Manager (Data Center)

Location: Alexandria, United States; onsite work on a large data center project

Salary: $116,000–$192,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the coordination and management of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection work from design coordination through project closeout.
• Plan schedules, coordinate construction activities, and support compliance with local, city, state, and county codes.
• Review drawings and specifications, assess constructability and cost feasibility, resolve MEP issues, and manage project risks.
• Analyze MEP progress, costs, budgets, quantity surveys, pricing, and schedules.
• Coordinate clients, agencies, subcontractors, design teams, Superintendents, Project Managers, and owners.
• Manage commissioning, model-based coordination, quality plans, compliance testing, inspections, audits, and remediation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 6+ years of MEP and commercial construction experience, including progressively responsible leadership.
• 5+ years of design or project management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other 3D software.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under time constraints while maintaining precise, ethical, and quality-focused work.
