Electro-mechanical Engineer

Location: On-site at least four days per week at hirify.global Center in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States. Travel may include up to 10% domestic and international travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Salary: $98,964–$120,957 annual expected compensation range, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Support product engineering, product changes, and related activities for electromechanical respiratory systems.
• Contribute to product design, testing, and development to improve performance, quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Complete product verification, validation, qualification, and manufacturing readiness activities with cross-functional teams.
• Apply engineering principles, data analysis, and structured problem-solving methods to product and process improvements.
• Investigate technical issues and develop practical solutions for R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Business teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience with engineering fundamentals, product development, testing, analysis, or process improvement is beneficial.
• Experience with product testing, design verification, validation, statistical analysis, or engineering data analysis is beneficial.
• Familiarity with risk management, DFMEA, root cause analysis, Design Controls, or product lifecycle management processes is beneficial.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in research and development, product development, design engineering, testing, or manufacturing engineering.
• Internship, co-op, research, or industry experience supporting electromechanical products or systems.
• Demonstrated leadership through university research, technical organizations, professional societies, or cross-functional project teams.
