Workday Financials Manager

Location: Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ, with additional locations in Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa; work may include local or out-of-state travel to hirify.global offices and client sites.

Salary: $125,000–$200,000 per year, plus a 12% bonus target. Estimated total cash range: $140,000–$224,000.

What you will do

• Lead and manage complex Workday Financials implementation projects focused on Record to Report and Order to Cash functions.
• Act as a solution architect, project manager, and workstream lead across requirements definition, design workshops, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Design and configure Workday Financials, including FDM, workflows and business processes, account structures, and integrations.
• Analyze business requirements, perform gap assessments, and recommend Workday solutions and enhancements.
• Lead application control reviews, risk assessments, and user-access security activities for Workday and other enterprise platforms.
• Mentor, coach, and supervise consultants while supporting proposals, business development, and client relationships.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in professional services or industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience with Workday Financials implementations, R2R and/or O2C processes, project management, and solution design.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, data management, segregation of duties, and access security.
• Leadership and direct supervisory experience, including mentoring, performance reviews, and team coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Workday Financials certification is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Workday Accounting Center, Adaptive, or Prism certifications and experience.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance assessments.
• Knowledge of Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 controls and risk assessments.
• Experience with Visio and Access.
