Workday HCM Payroll Senior Manager (Workday)

Location: Hybrid workplace with in-person work at local hirify.global offices and client sites; locations include Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Miami, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Tampa. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $137,000–$219,000 per year, plus a 14% bonus target. Estimated total cash range: $156,180–$249,660.

What you will do

• Lead large and complex Workday HCM and Payroll implementation and optimization projects.
• Serve as a Workday solution architect and HCM/Payroll workstream lead.
• Develop implementation plans, estimates, timelines, costs, and future-state designs.
• Lead requirements definition, design workshops, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Manage client relationships, communicate risks and challenges to executives, and support proposals and business development.
• Mentor and supervise teams, conduct performance development, and oversee project work plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, psychology, information technology/MIS, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in a related field or professional services.
• Demonstrated experience with Workday HCM and Payroll architecture, configuration, implementation, controls, risk assessments, and process improvement.
• Experience leading requirements, design, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post-go-live activities.
• Direct team leadership experience, including supervision, mentoring, coaching, performance appraisals, and work review.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio and Access experience is also relevant.

Nice to have

• Workday HCM and/or Payroll certification or a similar professional certification.
• Experience assessing Workday platforms in connection with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
