HR Project Manager

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; at least four days per week in the office and up to one day working from home.

Salary: $93,400–$128,400 per year, plus potential variable compensation.

What you will do

• Lead strategic HR initiatives and system implementations from planning and stakeholder alignment through testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Coordinate HR leaders, Centers of Excellence, HR Operations, Technology teams, vendors, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage project plans, milestones, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, scope changes, financials, and status reporting.
• Facilitate project meetings and decision-making forums while driving accountability across multiple workstreams.
• Lead HR technology, operating model, organizational effectiveness, regulatory, process improvement, and employee experience initiatives.
• Support organizational readiness, adoption, training, communications, and measurement of post-implementation business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years of experience leading medium- to large-scale projects and system implementations, preferably in HR, HR Operations, or HR Technology.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs, multiple stakeholders, and parallel workstreams.
• Strong project planning, resource management, risk management, issue resolution, change control, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority, translate business requirements into executable plans, and deliver projects through ambiguity.
• Must have valid United States work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Learning & Development, Workforce Planning, Employee Experience, or HR Operations.
• Experience with Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, Cornerstone, Paradox, or similar HR platforms.
• Experience with HR transformation, M&A, organizational change, or business process improvement.
• Financial services, insurance, wealth management, or other regulated-industry experience.
• PMP, Agile, Prosci, or other project or change management certification.
