Manufacturing Technician (Electronics Assembly)

Location: East Syracuse, New York, USA; onsite production-floor role

Salary: $18.50–$24.00 per hour, plus a profit-sharing bonus with a 10% target

What you will do

• Assemble, repair, and rework assemblies and circuit boards with accurate, consistent output.
• Assemble and test mechanical components using test equipment, fixtures, engineering drawings, and Manufacturing Assembly Procedure instructions.
• Perform functional testing on products with specialized equipment while maintaining quality and delivery targets.
• Support production-floor activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Collect production data using Microsoft Office and current data-collection methods.
• Maintain inventory and complete inventory-control transactions accurately.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong fine motor skills and ability to work in a cleanroom while following cleanliness standards.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and frequently lift, carry, or move up to 20 pounds.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome; manufacturing experience is not required. An associate degree in Mechanical Technology or a related field is preferred, or 3+ years of manufacturing experience may substitute.
• Availability for 1st shift, 2nd shift, or weekend shift work.

Nice to have

• Mechanical or electrical assembly experience.
• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring devices, electrical equipment, or basic computer systems.
• Soldering experience or certification.
• SAP or other inventory-system experience.
• Mechanical Technology certification.
