Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid arrangement with 3 days per week on-site and other days remote

Salary: $125,000–$140,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and location; additional incentive compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation and prepare board and executive reporting packages for Commercial Banking and Wealth Management.
• Coordinate annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, review assumptions, and analyze business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, sensitivity analysis, investment analysis, and decision-making.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Controllership, Corporate Finance, Strategy, and senior stakeholders on business cases and strategic planning.
• Present financial performance, trends, and key drivers to Finance and non-Finance audiences.
• Improve consolidation processes, strengthen controls, enhance reporting tools, and provide guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in financial services.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial software such as SAP, Oracle, Power BI, or Microsoft Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and financial reporting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead as a senior individual contributor and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified US location and able to provide a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• MBA or relevant professional certification such as CFA or CPA.
• Expertise in AI.
