GMP Technician

Location: West Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States

Salary: $18.70–$19.70 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain assigned GMP-controlled areas in clean and orderly condition.
• Perform sanitization, wipe-downs, wall, floor, window, and shutdown cleaning duties.
• Follow customer and SBM SOPs, safety procedures, gowning requirements, and PPE standards.
• Complete daily FN logs, work orders, punch-list items, and maintenance issue reports.
• Work with shift leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Provide area coverage when general staff shortages occur and drive to customer sites or company facilities when required.

Requirements

• Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment maintenance, cleaning compounds, and chemical safety.
• Completion of required safety, task, chemical safety, and annual qualification training.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive tasks in a GMP environment.
• High school diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of experience are preferred; a valid driver's license or forklift certification may be required based on business needs.
