Associate Manufacturing - Nights (D or C shift) (Biotech)

Location: West Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States; onsite, rotating 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Initial onboarding and training lasts 2–6 weeks on an administrative Monday–Friday schedule, approximately 8 AM to 5 PM.

Salary: $70,985.20–$96,038.80 per year, plus a 15% shift differential and premium pay for Sundays worked.

What you will do

• Perform batching and transfer of buffers and media according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor critical manufacturing processes and complete routine validation protocols.
• Document activities in batch records and draft or revise manufacturing procedures, SOPs, and technical reports.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and support documentation reviews for assigned functions.
• Initiate and own area deviations, revise SOPs, and perform LEAN activities.
• Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to routine manufacturing functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience; or an associate degree plus 6 months of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ability to interpret and apply GMP requirements and follow and document manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour night schedule, including Sundays when scheduled.
• Understanding of basic chemistry, biology, physical principles, statistics, and analytical methods.
• Basic troubleshooting, technical writing, and production documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
• Knowledge of large-scale biotechnology operations, including purification, cell culture, aseptic processing, and single-use systems.
• Knowledge of CFR and regulatory requirements, mechanical expertise, and experience with DeltaV or laboratory equipment.
• Project management and presentation skills.
