Associate Manufacturing - Nights (D Shift) (Biotech)

Location: West Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $70,985.20–$96,038.80 annual base salary, plus a 15% night-shift differential

Biotechnology company developing and manufacturing medicines for serious illnesses across oncology, inflammation, general medicine, and rare disease.

What you will do

• Perform batching and transfer of buffers and media according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor critical manufacturing processes and complete routine validation protocols.
• Prepare and revise manufacturing procedures, SOPs, batch records, and technical reports.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and review documentation for assigned functions.
• Own area deviations, support LEAN activities, and implement improvements to routine operations.
• Work a rotating 12-hour D-shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM; complete 2–6 weeks of weekday administrative training from approximately 8 AM to 5 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience, or an associate degree plus 6 months of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ability to understand, apply, and document Good Manufacturing Practices and follow batch-record requirements.
• Basic troubleshooting, technical writing, statistical mathematics, and analytical-method skills.
• Ability to apply basic chemistry, biology, and physical principles in manufacturing operations.
• Ability to work onsite in West Greenwich, Rhode Island, on a rotating overnight schedule.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
• Experience with large-scale biotechnology operations, including purification, cell culture, or aseptic processing.
• Knowledge of single-use systems, CFR and regulatory requirements, mechanical systems, or lab equipment testing.
• Experience with DeltaV, project management, or presentation skills.
