Senior Project Manager (Gas Power Generation)

Location: Remote/traveling for corporate use only; ability to travel is required. Company headquarters: Avon, Minnesota, United States.

Salary: $184,558–$267,609 per year, with individual compensation based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Lead portfolio-, program-, and project-level planning across complex, multidisciplinary gas power generation projects.
• Manage projects from early development and contract negotiations through engineering, construction sequencing, supply chain coordination, and warranty.
• Serve as the primary liaison for client stakeholders and lead strategic alignment across projects and Project Manager teams.
• Oversee requirements, long-term schedules, risk strategies, quality reviews, audits, change control, and recovery planning.
• Direct budgets, resource allocation, forecasting, billing, and financial performance across programs and projects.
• Develop Project Managers through coaching, training, performance feedback, and structured growth plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
• At least 7 years of project or construction experience and at least 5 years of leadership experience.
• Advanced knowledge of cost accounting, construction regulations, risk management, planning, sequencing, and scheduling.
• Exceptional oral, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to negotiate complex contracts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and the ability to prioritize work, operate independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information.
• Ability to travel; experience with gas power generation projects is preferred.
