People Operations Specialist (Robotics)

Location: Hybrid, based out of the Salem, Oregon or Fremont, California office; all roles are U.S.-based

Salary: $54,000–$84,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Own the new-hire onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics across the Fremont, Salem, and Pittsburgh offices and remote employees with IT, Facilities, and Recruiting.
• Develop orientation, first-week schedules, activities, and buddy programs that create an engaging employee experience.
• Plan and support offsites, family days, summits, and holiday parties, including vendors, budgets, timelines, and event-day logistics.
• Administer the HRIS, process employee data changes, and maintain accurate records.
• Improve HR systems, documentation, workflows, and employee experience while supporting ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in People Operations or a related role.
• BA/BS degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Experience administering an HRIS and maintaining employee data integrity.
• Experience with onboarding and team event planning, plus strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information; proficiency in Google Suite.
• Current authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday.
• Familiarity with federal and state leave-of-absence requirements.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup, manufacturing, or robotics environment.
