Lead Fullstack AI Engineer (Python)

Location: Mexico City; remote work

What you will do

• Set the technical direction and make architectural decisions for full-stack applications integrating AI services.
• Build scalable Python backend services and interactive React, Vue, or Angular interfaces for complex data and AI interactions.
• Design and maintain data processing pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM integrations for client problems.
• Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and QA to turn requirements into technical roadmaps and deliverable software.
• Evaluate emerging AI and web technologies, including SLMs, agentic AI, and multimodal models.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong Python backend expertise with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Modern frontend experience with React, Vue, or Angular; TypeScript is preferred.
• Hands-on AI and LLM experience with RAG patterns, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
• Experience with REST, GraphQL, real-time interfaces, relational and vector databases.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, containerization, automated testing, and clear communication of complex technical concepts.
