Sr Staff Technology Solutions Analyst (Financial Markets)

Location: Hybrid, with 2 days on site at the Chicago office, 20 S. Wacker

Salary: $125,800–$209,600 per year, plus annual target bonus and equity opportunity

What you will do

• Lead detailed elicitation, discovery, prototyping, and technical analysis activities.
• Define data, mappings, messaging, and API specifications for technology initiatives.
• Assess product impacts and contribute to the vision for new initiatives and enhancements.
• Partner with development and QA teams on solution assessment and validation.
• Create data designs, flows, and mappings between integrated components.
• Develop acceptance criteria supporting automated testing and behavior-driven development.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in business systems analysis, QA architecture, or a related field.
• Experience leading and implementing medium- or large-scale technology initiatives.
• Experience with product-oriented development, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and practices.
• Knowledge of data analysis, database technologies, XML, JSON, object-oriented design, cloud-based integrations, and supporting tools.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, influence, and problem-solving skills.
• B.A. or B.S. in business, information systems, computer science, or a similar discipline; relevant experience may substitute.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial markets, electronic trading, order management, market data, clearing, or post-trade processing.
• Knowledge of POD, ATDD, BDD, or DSL practices.
• Experience with visual, message, API, process, or data modeling tools, including FIX, SBE, GPB, FAST, and XML.
• Experience using Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence.
