Technical Systems Engineer

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States; hybrid with telework eligibility after 60 days. Applicants must reside in the United States at the time of application.

Salary: $140,770–$281,541 per year

What you will do

• Review, revise, and create technical architecture documents aligned with mission requirements.
• Define system communication contracts and support seamless integration across enterprise systems.
• Facilitate Engineering Review Board sessions with NSA leadership and guide key technical decisions.
• Prepare system engineering management plans, system integration plans, and test strategies.
• Resolve complex technical challenges with government stakeholders and communicate technical insights to program personnel, overseers, and senior executives.
• Participate in two-week Agile sprints, including standups, planning, backlog grooming, demos, retrospectives, and Scrum of Scrums.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 15+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Applicants must reside in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Experience with DoDAF.
• Experience with the Cameo architectural tool.
