Technical Business Analyst III (Lending)

Location: Hybrid/remote within approximately a 70-mile radius of offices in Allen, Texas; Lenexa, Kansas; Springfield or Monett, Missouri; Louisville, Kentucky; Birmingham, Alabama; or Charlotte, North Carolina. Onsite interviews or in-person onboarding may be required. Travel is required for internal meetings, conferences, user groups, and customer engagements.

What you will do

• Gather system requirements from customers and define system and functional product requirements.
• Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, end-user documentation, and sprint documentation.
• Support business process redesign and help customers assess how enhancements can improve process flow and business functions.
• Perform application, system, and regression testing; create test plans and scripts for new products and enhancements.
• Review requirements, design, and scope documents, and help diagnose or resolve defects with customer support.
• Work with industry research groups on product trends and assist less experienced peers.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in loan operations, loan servicing, loan processing, lending product management, business analysis, or related banking functions.
• Strong knowledge of lending processes in consumer, commercial, mortgage, or agricultural lending, including loan origination, servicing, collateral management, payment processing, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with banking software, product management activities, or business requirements in a loan-focused environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for internal meetings, conferences, user groups, and customer engagements.

• Experience or knowledge of Agile development methodologies, Core Business Services, SOA architecture or similar tools, and XML.
• Experience with business requirements documentation, technical and functional specifications, use cases, and test cases.
• Experience resolving complex issues across complex and diverse projects, including in-depth evaluation of variable factors and selection of methods and evaluation criteria.
• Excellent knowledge of the financial industry, specifically lending; excellent communication and customer interaction skills; and excellent project management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, good grammar and writing skills, and the ability to define system and functional requirements.
• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and communicate effectively with technical associates.
