Senior Technical Analyst (Data Engineering & BI)

Location: Must be based in Canada (Toronto/Mississauga office or flexible hybrid/remote options).

Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 CAD.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based data pipelines and internal analytics tools.
• Build and optimize data transformations and workflows in Snowflake and Informatica Cloud.
• Convert manual spreadsheet-based models into scalable, centralized automated solutions.
• Develop and maintain intuitive dashboards and reports primarily using Tableau.
• Collaborate with Product, BI, and IT teams to ensure data reliability and governance.
• Support BI platform administration and maintain internal data security standards.

Requirements

• Current work authorization for Canada is required.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or BI Analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Python and advanced SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling and performance optimization.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting analytics for financial products or capital markets.
• Exposure to BI platform administration (Tableau Cloud, Power BI Service, SAP BO).
• Experience with Informatica Cloud or workflow automation tools.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
