Senior Financial Analyst (SaaS)

What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting with department leaders.
• Build financial models for long-range planning, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare board-level financial reporting and presentations that translate complex data into clear insights.
• Develop and track SaaS metrics covering growth, retention, unit economics, and operating performance.
• Analyze trends, risks, opportunities, variances, and business drivers for the CFO and executive leadership.
• Improve planning processes, reporting tools, headcount planning, and ad hoc analysis for strategic projects.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and executive or board-level financial materials.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Comfort using AI and emerging technologies to improve financial analysis, reporting, modeling, and processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS business models and metrics.
• Experience with FP&A, ERP, or BI tools such as NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Looker, or similar.
